In 2017, the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) endorsed the principles enshrined in the European charter for researchers.
The university developed an internal GAP analysis and university staff survey in 2018. Based on the results of the investigation, the university has prepared an Action Plan (AP) to fully implement the HRS4R strategy.
On September 10, 2019, CTU received the HR Excellence in Research Award from the European Commission.
The HR Award is awarded by the European Commission to research institutions that implement a personnel strategy based on the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. This is a recommendation of the European Commission that obliges research institutions to create welcoming working conditions, professional development opportunities and transparent recruitment procedures.
